A Bridge Too Hard To Cross

Posted by Daniel^_^Chin

This is the first time I feel the pressure since the start of my semester, not the big deal I've been through, but big enough to feel the existence of something pressing my chest, and something trying to gush up my mind and fill it with some evil substance of adamant nature...(omg what am I talking about? Sorry but I'm an exaggerating kind of person)...

But you'll ask, "Hey aren't you taking bridging? What's the big fit?"

And I'll reply, "Dude, I know, but...that's only assuming, and it was started by me(refer to previous post)...and you know that to assume is to make an @ss outta u and me."

"So what happened?"

"*Sigh*...you see, although I only have 5 subjects(only?), the amount of credit hours is more than the hours you stay in the toilet in a week. Smelly isn't it?"

"Ahem"

"Two subjects is enough to work off ur...err...you know. And not forgetting the importance, there's a subject with 10 credits(*gasps*). Everything is just TMTH"

"But..."

"I know what you are thinking, so what happens to those who didn't take bridging? Let me tell you, I................er.................don't want to think about it, the picture is yours to imagine, I only do sketches......oh crap, I have sketches to do! See ya!" *runs*

Anyways, I'm glad I took this course, because I know I won't be able to cope with the workload next year. But to those who are not taking bridging, don't worry, I know you can do it, time management is the key!

So see ya! *runs to journal and starts sketching*

Another sem...time to be different...

I'm going to start my 1st year degree, so I'm officially a degree student now...yeah!!!!

But technically I'm doing bridging, and please don't ask me to explain, I've done it so many times so I'm fed up now :P....

I just got my result on Saturday, and to my surprise...I wasn't surprised at all! Which means I was surprised, but not for the reason I always thought I would be surprised, and rather I was surprised by the surprise that I wasn't expecting to be getting surprised at all. Am I getting you confused, or myself being confusing right now? Surprise...surprise...o.O This is the first time your are surprised at my blog load of surprises, and I am surprised too...

So what's the BIG surprise? Don't be surprised okay?

I got 3As and 3Bs!...you are not surprised? Then I AM surprised that you are not surprised at all......o.O

So what's the fuss? There's none at all. In fact, I mentioned that I wasn't surprised at the surprise I thought I would be getting surprised. So I wasn't surprised at my result....I know it's your turn to be surprised now, but really, I wasn't surprised...

So why?

Because I knew it was coming, no, not the surprise, I mean the result...in fact, I thought it was gonna be worst. But I was content with my result, so maybe I was happy...and the surprise I was talking about was the one that I got after realising I was content(maybe a lil bit happy)...so that's why I was surprised...

But why?

I'm glad that you asked, or if you didn't, then I'm surprised...

Because I knew I was lazy last semester...I did badly, maybe in my own point of view, but it's still bad...surprisingly bad...so I thought I was screwed...

But deep inside I knew I didn't do so badly, in my lecturers' POV, because they've seen worst...

So it's time to stop being lazy and be hardworking!

And stop thinking that I don't need to be hardworking to pass...who knows maybe I'm not as lucky(and as surprised) next time?

So that THE END to my entry this time! Are you surprised at the incredible short length compared to my other entries? Well, you'll be more surprised if I told you that I have 40 surprise/surprises/surprised/surprisingly in this entry! So are you surprised? To get more surprises, please come back again!

Disclaimer: Blog owner will not be held responsible for any surprise attacks on the readers. The reason the blog owner did not put any warning before the post was because he did not know that the surprises were coming, so he was surprised too.

Laziness...can be d'licious...and simple...

I can't help but laughing stupidly at my stupid title...am I becoming more stupid? :P

But one thing for sure, I'm becoming more lazy....

Actually, not lazier than usual...but sometimes you need to have a time when you suddenly "crumple" up and lie in the "bin"....am I refering myself as a "rubbish"? o.O

Well, anyway...for a few days I thought I was doing nothing. But then again...what's the point of holidays? For some people...it is time to work and earn some money...for others, erm...study time perhaps?(definitely not me :P) But for me, holiday is the time to rest and enjoy ur life while you still have it...wait, don't get me wrong...I mean before I go back to my Archi-student life, where life is not exactly a life...since when architects have life anyway? Not for me(again)...I strive to be different from others...and that's me...I always want to be different...I hate when people follow me, and I hate it when I sometimes tend to follow people too T.T.

But one thing people should know-learn from others is different from follow or trying to be like others(note to everyone :P)

Anyway...where was I?...Oh ya...I want to be different? Of course I am...but not that kind of social misfit or oddball kinda different. I even thought of having a reality show called...hmm...what should it be called? *smile sheepishly* well....I never actually thought of the title, but it's a reality show about an architect's fab life...I'll make the life of an architect fabulous. Something  like Apprentice with me as the "Donald Trump"...minus the bad hair...and a splash of the ever fabulous Kimora Lee Simmons's Life in the Fab Lane...but at the same time informative and entertaining *yum!!*

Okay everyone that came to my blog has decided I'm outta my mind now...

And yesterday I just finished the fourth book of a children series...and I mean children children...not like Harry Potter...but children children children(get it? o.O) And I'm not revealing the title here...it's too embarrassing T.T...but it's not "Little Rabbit Bibi and the Flying Kitchen Pan" or something like that okay...that's too children children children children x10...but hey...that sounds like a nice title to......

Sometimes you have to stop being complicated and lose up...

I don't know when that came up but it truely describes what I've been doing...I was back to basics...yearly ritual...back to simplicity for a while and recharge.

Sometimes you have to stop being busy...being demanding of yourself to do things...sometimes you just have to relax...

Listen to some music(my favourite hitz.fm)...read some SIMPLE books...walk slowly...dream peacefully...exactly what I was doing all day!

Stop solving puzzles of 1000 pieces just to get the picture...why not draw one yourself...and admire it until you are ready to go through the pieces again.

Hey.....this blog is going no way I wanted...I didn't even plan it. I guess that's BLOG!

But that my ideal D'licious life!

*PS: Sorry for wasting your precious time reading my "blog"...but sometimes you have to read simple blogs right?

Holidays~~~

Posted by Daniel^_^Chin

So I'm free now! Well actually my holiday started few week ago but I only have the mood to blog right now. It has been a long time since I last updated my blog and I was sooooooo lazy to update it. This blog is sort of my personal diary and I only include my personal life here but at the same time, I want to have another blog that I can put everything I'm interested in it and share with other people such as hobbies and entertainment stuffs.

So instead of writing my own blog I started reading other people's blog and I found out quite a few interesting blogs that focus on things like fashion, food, books and entertainment. Well maybe you guys can give me some suggestions on what kind of blog I can write. I would love to start a blog that reviews entertaining stuffs like books, tv shows, musics, food, fashion and maybe I could use some help from other writers too :P

And the Olympic games are around the corner!!!!!!!!!!! Woot that just popped in my head :P

And that means I should rush back to my hostel in Cyberia and befriend with lovely Astro Supersport that I felt sooooo unfamiliar with before, well I'm not a big fan of sport you know :P I'd rather sleep than sit on the couch hitting my arse whenever another guy fails to kick a ball into the right direction. But I do like to watch some sports on Olympic like badminton(gotta root for Malaysia :P) and bowling too(but it's not in the Olympics right?).

So, while waiting for that auspicious date of 08/08/2008 let's go back to my holiday now :P

There's really nothing for me to do right now so while waiting for my results, I'm watching shows like hell(like I didn't when I was studying...shhhh!). Just finished the fourth season of Australia's Next Top Model....I know that many of you don't even know that it exists but I really had nothing to watch...I mean English shows as my internet has problems downloading the beautiful housewives of Wisteria Lane into my laptop and also the not so beautiful Ms Latina fashionista(or fashioNOTa) running around in her orange poncho(I seriousely do hope she has burned it).

Anyways don't worry as I have a few Hong Kong dramas up my sleaaves(pardon the australian accent o.O) thanks to my sistar :P DRAMA! DRAMA! I'm soooooo sick of it roight neow :P although I do admit I'm a dramatic person insoide and outt. But I still wanna watch some dramas by the Yanks...

And lose the stupid accent!!!!!! Okoie....

Well I guess I could do some review on TV shows then....my halfway written one for "Kung Fu Panda" is in the garbage bin now I suppose...and I do not have patience to post stupid(I mean really stupid and annoying) links on movies and other really stupid stuffs on Facebook like the other annoying person there, I wish I didn't add him and I guess some of you who added him should know who I'm talking about right now cause it seems he's the only one doing it :P and he is not my friend I do not talk bad behind my friends......only a few miles out of their sight(and hearing :P)

And not to forget the piling books that I bought ages ago.....and didn't touch them until now. Last week(or last last week) I went to MPH and wanted to buy more but figured that I should wait for my mum to buy for me instead(need to save money the wicked way now!). Meanwhile I guess I'll just have to finish those I'm having now!

Oh and it's Rozan's birthday today btw...guess I'll wish him later today...gotta sleep naiow...if you are reading this blog(Rozan)....YOU ARE OLDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!*wicked laugh* Happy BITTER 19!...nay just kidding your birthday will still be as SWEET as..........................................something sweet :P Sorry I'm not theear to celebrate with ya but I hope you get a nice cake from Secret Recipe :P......and this is the first Happy Birthday in my blog! Here are some lovely pics for you!!!

A teddy with a cake :P

And a wicked Häagen-Dazs® Caremel Drizzle cake -
your choice of Häagen-Dazs® ice cream covered in a rich chocolate coating drizzled with caramel and garnished with fudge swirls and pecan halves.

And More!!!! This time a Serendipity - Haagen-Dazs® Macadamia Nut ice cream embedded in rich cream, layered with chocolate, topped with fresh strawberries & blueberries. "Surely serendipitous!"

I'm sooooo dying for cakes now...T.T

Okay that's all Happy Birthday again!!!!!!! And I wish all your wishes come true! (but not the bad ones about me!)

It's so late now.....or is it actually early?(these two words are a few ones that architects don't really know...and can't really figure out).....so that sounds like an end to me....Anne will probably say I'm writing an essay again when she sees this....so boii!!!!(oh I can't get rid of that accent!!)

Buffet...to fill up my sorrow...:P

Posted by Daniel^_^Chin

These few days have been quite stressful for me. It's near final review, and I know it'll get worst soon. Even with the stress, I'm still feeling lazy and slow....as always :P...and unhealthy too T.T. I'm getting skinnier and skinnier....

So, yesterday my mum called and told me she's coming with the whole family. Well, that's a good thing actually coz that means I can go out and have a decent meal which I haven't had in a long time. To make myself not to appear to unhealthy(at least psychologically), I manage to down a bottle of chicken essence(yuck!) and to my surprise, it's not as bad as two years ago. Perhaps I'll be able to eat bitter gourds two years later...lol...

I woke up at 10 sumthing today and went out with my family at around noon to a buffet in Marriot Hotel Putrajaya(my second sis is working there anyway). After a seemingly long journey(my father took the wrong way...), we finally arrived there.....As an architecture student(and a camera whore), of course I wouldn't lose the chance of taking some pics.
Dad, mum and two sisters posing outside the lobby

The hotel lounge

The fountain!

The skylight(I like the golden leaves design)

After looking around and taking some pics(my phone doesn't have a lot of space)...we went to the cafe and started grabbing any food that we could find. Soup, bread, salad, rice, curry, noodles, fruits, kuih, dessert, ice kacang...so much food so little time!!!!!!!!The cafe

Dessert!!!!!Yum...

My own danielicious ice kacang made by me Daniel :P(I'm so full of myself)

I just realised, to my horror! Of all the pics I took, I don't have one with Daniel in it! Oh my god!!! I have to say sorry to all my picture bitches, I fail u all....*sob*

Anyway, back to reality(or was it a dream after all?)...after all the food that I took, I couldn't even finish them. I felt so embarrass when the waitress asked, "are you 'finished'?", gesturing toward a FULL bowl of mushroom soup(it's not that nice actually, so I had to abandon it :P)

And there was a group of Philippine entertainers singing with guitars and the way they sing was soooo funny that everyone was smiling at the end of the day. Oh, there was a clown too! And I actually wanted to ask him make a balloon puppy for Rozan, but apparently he was too busy entertaining the kids(hey, us teenagers and grown ups need some fun too, ok?)

So after a huge session of tucking and stuffing(until I couldn't take in anymore)...time to return to my busy life as an Architecture student!!!!!!Doong~~~~wang wang wang~~.....(imagine Miss Jay making the gong sound in ANTM Cycle 9 when they were in China)

Okay, that's all for today...a short but wonderful break in my life...stay tune for more drama and fab pieces of Mr Daniel which is me myself and I......will c ya again! Ciao!

Things in my bursting head...AAAARRRRGGGH!!!!

I don't usually give a damn about other people. Well, maybe sometimes...but not always. I care a about others, and I hope I can help them. But I can't help you if you have no problems at all, or at least that's what you think. I don't get jealous at other people just because they are good at this or that. Unless you are super rich or successful or whatever, I may idolise you....but I don't really care if you have a nice pink bag or a stupid gold fish in your bath tub because if you think these are what that makes you better than others or makes you more confident...I have to admit that you are shallow-minded and I don't really know what to do( I might just pretend that I'm super jealous at your gold fish embroidered pink undies or I might show a fake smile :) )

Anyway, I don't get why people like to compare themselves to other people. I do compare myself to people from time to time, but I do it in my super-steel-wall-guarded mind and get over it after that. You don't obsess yourself with the pleasure of knowing you are the best. If you wanna compare just hide in your dark corner and do it alone. It's like if you wanna bitch about other people, bitch inside ur own sick head and not in front of other people. And if you wanna boost your confidence, do it in the positive way, any way, I don't know how, read books or whatever...just stop making people look bad or feel bad just to make urself look so damn "good".

Some people have attitudes that piss people off. Maybe they don't know it, you can't blame them...it's their poor nature. That's why you have to learn how to deal with it. You can never change people, unless you are a bible or you are simply a god. I used to be surrounded by nice people, but I found out that nice people with annoying attitudes are worse than bad people. It's because you don't know how to deal with them, you can be nice with them but get hurt at the same time. It's hard for you to confront them because it is just HARD(maybe for me), and they don't know it themselves. These people are a different kind of breed, sort of like the hybrid created by today's complicated society, and I cannot say that I'm 100% not one of them.

I admit that I'm bad at socializing with other people, but I'm glad that I've learned a lot. I have to thank these people for training me...you can say I'm ignorant or watever but I've always thought that I have a high EQ...but not anymore when I meet these people. I constantly get pissed by them and although I always tell myself not to care, forget about it, maybe its not what they meant, maybe its just a joke, I just can't forget...my patience certainly grew a lot(it was actually huge to start with)...but I regret now for not having the chance to say "please don't test my limits", because my limit hasn't been touched for decades( I'm only 18++, so that means NEVER!).

I can never be great friends with people like that...maybe friends...but not really good friends.
